Artful Tales
Let your
imagination run wild in this class. Students will develop
their phonics skills while reading and listening to fables,
fiction, and folktales. The students will demonstrate their
own interpretations of these stories through various art
forms.
Grades 1-3
Insects
What lives in
your backyard? Bugs are creatures that live in our yards;
they crawl, they creep, and they get under your skin. In
this class we will explore these insects and even make a
few.
Grades 2-3
Math Magic
Develop critical thinking skills while enjoying math games, puzzles, and brain
teasers with a little magic thrown in for some cool fun.
Grades 3-5
Grammar, Writing and More
Strengthen
your language arts skills and learn to write with more
confidence. In this class, you will review a potpourri of
English skills, work on your sentence structure, writing and
vocabulary.
Grades 5-8
Public Speaking
Are you
nervous and afraid to speak in front of your peers? This
class will teach you the techniques needed to be comfortable
speaking in front of a class or to one other person. Learn
to be confident and sure of yourself.
Grades
5-8 Be a Journalist
In this class
you become the writer. Create your own stories from events
that take place around you. Work with others and by
yourself. Get the information quickly and accurately. You
will work on all aspects of necessary writing skills.
